Toddler

  • This stage is filled with rapid development from running around to explore the world, to climbing and jumping to explore their limits, to talking and completed simple tasks on their own - really a time of becoming their own unique individual. Often times we're dealing with a lot of head butting at this stage due to their need to exert their independence, thus understanding to minimize the power struggle becomes an important component to understand and overcome. Also this often is a time where due to their exploratory nature where we see more scraped knees and bruises as well as more infections often due to their introduction to a daycare or dayhome. Thus learning how to minimize infections (and thus your days off work to care for your toddler) and what to do to aid heal their often numerous cuts and scrapes is an essential part of your toddlers health. Give your toddler the most out of his/her exploratory years!
