Homeopathy

Developed in the 18th century by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, homeopathy follows the old principle of "like cures like" first described by Hippocrates. This principle states that a substance given to someone healthy will produce a set of signs and symptoms that could be relieved if that same substance is given in minute amounts to someone suffering from those exact signs and symptoms. Due to the dilute nature of the remedies, they are considered devoid of chemical toxicity.
